We have tried to categorize the different birds we have seen, so it will be easier to find them on the Webpage. The categorization is not scientific, although we have aimed to follow the general groupings we could find in the nature guides.
Back from our trip to New-Zealand this spring, we want to share with you some nice bird pictures. Many of the birds shown are endemic to New Zealand and do not exist anywhere else.
Walking along the Neckar-River in Ladenburg, just when you passed the ferry, there is a cherry tree. He was in full blossom end of March and had some unexpected guests coming from across the river - a bunch of rose-banded parakeets who live in the trees of the Edinger Castle gardens.
